MedBiquitous XML – Is your software conformant?
Does your software implement MedBiquitous XML standards? Implementers may complete an application to use the MedBiquitous XML logo and promote their conformance with industry standards. The application collects data on the standards implementation which will then be published on the MedBiquitous website. This promotion of conformant systems will make it easier for consumers to find for conformant software products related to healthcare professional credentialing and learning resource and activity management and discovery. Promote your use of standards!
MedBiquitous website changes
The MedBiquitous website has a new organization. We’ve reorganized the website to make it easier for you to:

- Find conformant software

AOIA begins XML delivery of Osteopathic physician profiles
Collaborative Fusion, Inc. (CFI), a provider of responder management solutions for emergency preparedness, is the first subscriber to the American Osteopathic Information Association’s (AOIA) standardized format XML-based Physician Profile. The subscription service allows CFI to conduct primary source verification of physician specialty certification information within the AOIA database through an automated interface. The new system is conformant with the MedBiquitous Healthcare Professional Profile Standard – ANSI/MEDBIQ PP.10.1-2008, an American National Standard that the AOIA helped to develop. The standard provides an efficient way of exchanging data about a physician’s education, training, and other credentials. The delivery of profile data using the Healthcare Professional Profile helps disaster relief agencies mobilize and deploy verified specialty physicians in a timely manner. For more information contact Annette Gippe, AOIA Deputy Director.
